NEET Admit Card 2023


NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a national-level medical entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BSMS and BHMS courses in various medical and dental colleges across India. NEET UG 2023 is scheduled to be held on Sunday, 07 May 2023 in pen and paper mode in 13 languages.

If you are one of the aspirants who have registered for NEET UG 2023, you must be eagerly waiting for your admit card, which is a mandatory document to appear for the exam. The NTA has not announced the official date for releasing the NEET admit card 2023 yet, but it is expected to be available at least 20 days before the exam date. You can download your admit card from the official website of NTA NEET – neet.nta.nic.in – by entering your application number, date of birth and security pin.

The NTA has also released the NEET UG 2023 exam city slip on its website, which informs you about the city where your exam centre is located. You can download your exam city slip by logging in with your application number and password. The exam city slip is not a substitute for the admit card, but it helps you to plan your travel and accommodation arrangements in advance.

The NEET admit card 2023 will contain important details such as your roll number, name, father's name, date of birth, category, sub-category, photograph, signature, language of question paper, exam date and time, and exam centre name and address. You should carefully check all these details and report any discrepancy or error to the NTA helpline numbers – 011-40759000, 011-22041807, 011-22041808 – or email at neet@nta.ac.in.

You should also read the instructions given on the admit card carefully and follow them strictly on the day of the exam. You should carry a printed copy of your admit card along with a passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the online application form) and a valid photo ID proof (such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, driving license, etc.) to the exam centre. You should also carry any certificate or document required as per your category or sub-category (such as PwD certificate, EWS certificate, etc.).

You should reach the exam centre at least an hour before the commencement of the exam and follow the COVID-19 safety guidelines issued by the NTA. You should not carry any prohibited items such as electronic devices, calculators, watches, pens, paper, etc. to the exam hall. You should also maintain discipline and avoid any unfair means during the exam.

The NEET UG 2023 exam will be of three hours duration and will consist of 200 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). The total marks will be 720 and there will be negative marking of one mark for each incorrect answer. You can choose any one language out of English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu for your question paper.

The NEET UG 2023 result will be declared by the NTA on its website within a month after the exam. The candidates who qualify the exam will be eligible for counselling and seat allotment process conducted by various authorities such as DGHS (Directorate General of Health Services), MoA (Ministry of Ayush), state governments, etc.
